KEEP HOPE ALIVE!

How has your week been? How are you responding to the global awareness of the Zika Virus? It seems as though every corner you turn to, there is a dose of negative information waiting! Well, I do hope you are guarding your heart too.

Can you remember the lyrics of My Favourite Things, in the classic movie, Sound Of Music? I can’t seem to get it off my mind today, it’s being ringing in my head! *Lol! Here is the part I like most;
“…when the dog bites
When the bee stings
When I’m feeling sad
I simply remember my favourite things
And then I don’t feel…so bad”
As we go through this new month and the rest of the year, do not lose sight of your “favourite things”. Do not lose sight of what is important. Do not let the happening around the world scare you into no performance. No matter what happens, always remember, that life goes on!

Yes, life goes on! Zika virus or no Zika virus, Ebola virus or not, Lassa fever or no Lassa fever; whether there be economic meltdown or not, life will go on! Don’t be swept away by the floods of disturbing news being broadcasted daily. Securely guard the gates of your heart. Don’t apply your ears to words you do not want your heart to ponder on. Live on the full assurance of scriptures like,
“…When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him.” Isaiah 59: 19
“Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea…” Psalm 46: 2
Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation; there shall no evil befall the, neither shall any plague come night thy dwelling.” Psalm 91: 9-10
“Behold, he that keepth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. The LORD is thy Keeper: the LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand. The Sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul.” Psalm 121: 4-7
“For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but my kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed, saith the LORD that hath mercy on thee.” Isaiah 54: 10
If you often experience rapid recycling in your moods, you should be more conscious of the words you expose yourself to, your thought processes and your responses. Let your guard be Philippians 4: 8. If you do not feel better, please do not hesitate to pay a visit to your psychiatrists or physiologists for a review.
So, please do not give up now. I once read that success is failure turned inside out. If we do not quit like Isaac in Genesis 26, who was faced with an unfavourable situation, then we will surely succeed. We will not just survive, we will thrive; we will flourish and blossom in our designated assignments, with God as our Help. Keep Hope Alive!
My name is precious, I was Bipolar, and I live a full life.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, I thank you because your grace is sufficient for me. Your love makes me whole; your thoughts of me are beautiful. With you, I will run and not faint, I will work in faith and not in fear, in Jesus name. Amen.
